Hi,

I have been having a bit of a headache with this one and I know need some help. We have rank system 1 -9, 1 being Site Admin and then Guild leaders 2-4. It should then rank our Kinship Officers,Veteran, Member Initiate and Non-member. We can`t seem to give the kinship officer rank out to our officers, it is showing them as Veteran. On the Roster they are not showing up with any of the ranks given, I can change them from member- non member but not an officer .. Can someone please help or advice me here before I lose my brain?

Thank you

Are you sure all of the guild leader ranks are above the officer rank? You can't promote to the same rank or higher than what you currently have. Admin > Security > Ranks.

Check Admin > Security > Feature Access, and look at logins and members. Make sure both of those are set to the lowest guild leader rank that you have, to ensure everyone flagged as leader has access to make changes.

Also, if you change an account rank, you need to click OK on the box to change the character rank. The account rank assigns privileges, the character rank is just what shows on the roster. In my guild, lots of people have an account rank that is different than their character rank.

I'm curious though... why would you have multiple leader ranks? You can assign more than 1 member as any rank, as long as it's not rank 1. Since your 'Site Admin' rank is rank 1, you could make rank 2 'Guild Leaders' and then assign everyone else to it rather than having seperate ranks. The way you have it setup effectively makes #2 higher than #3, #2 & #3 higher than #4, etc.

What is your site's address and what are the names of the accounts you expect to have the permissions to vote (that is, what are the GM accounts that aren't able to promote to officer)?

Hi Thank you for the replies,

Well we are an Alliance of kinships, so there is Four Kinship Leaders and many officers, but as I said the Kinship leaders can not promote members to officer rank or can I, I am the one with full Administrative rights.

The Leaders of the kinships, Should start with DOE,LOD,NS,DOH leaders and then Kinship Officers and we have Veteran rank before member, Ive tried to delete this position but will not go but this is not the issue.

I have been in the features and made sure that the rank is Leaders, but when we try and give someone the position as an Officer on the roster it still remains as member or we don`t even get asked. Only have two options Member and Recruit.

Is your username on your site "Angel"?

Looking at your site, you look like you should have access to all that. Try logging out and logging back in. The permissions are all there - if you log in with Angel, you should have the admin menu and everything you need.
