Want to make it work with videos not supported since I can't use html in our forums.

<embed style = "height:385px !important; width:480px !important;" src="http://xml.truveo.com/eb/i/3554455611/a/58ef677afb89fc040e3dec6de7dd6c26/p/1" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="playerID=10032373001&@videoPlayer=25661805001&domain=embed&" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width=" 425" height=" 448" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" wmode="transparent" swLiveConnect="true" allowScriptAccess="always" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed>

Speaking of, can we get an html option for the forums, like the news posts have?

Wow, that's a tough one. Could you link me the location for that particular video? Looking at the code posted, I'm not sure what can be isolated easily to make a custom BBCode for it.

That said, an [html] tag is planned, though it has to be locked down a bit because of the inherent risks associated with allowing full HTML code (ie, you don't want users to be able to post javascript or break the layout of your page).

Ahh, I was thinking it would be possible to make a generic embed bbcode. That was just one example...

http://video.aol.com/video-detail/starstrukk/3555298586 is the video in question.

Eek. That's a toughy.

You could probably make an [aolvideo] tag to work with that specifying the various URLs provided in the embed code, but it's not the best.

That'll be your best bet until I get the HTML tag working.
