Announcing Youtube and Google Video Embedding tags for all guild sites (can be stuck into your news, dynamic pages, guides, in addition to forum posts)!


YouTube Video Embeding

[youtube]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[/youtube]

where xxxxxxxxxxxxx is the "Video Number" So for example, for this YouTube URL:



You'll want to copy the chunk that's highlighted. (notice that it stops at the & symbol)

For example:

[youtube]A6qipCidRWA[/youtube] produces the following




Google Video functions similarly.

For Gvideo, you'll want to use the following:

[gvideo]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[/gvideo]

where xxxxxxxxxxxx is the "doc number" also retrieved from the URL. Using the following URL as the example:



You'd want to enter it as

[gvideo]-2206347742166745971[/gvideo]

Which would produce:
