lol I had been using Guild Portal for a while because it was really the only thing out there. Prior to joining the DKPSystems family I had been contacting them about getting my guild name free again. Their solution was to change my guild name in some fashion. This irritated me. So began my search for another source.

I remember my friend Kross had been using this DKPSystems and thought hmmm i'll check it out. Well I gave it a go & loved it.

So I logged back into the Guild Portal Forums & under the thread asking about my guild name (there were a few others in the same situation as me) I replied to GP's inadequate help. I'm going with DKPSystems now. They are more responsive to it's customers, more versatile, & less expensive. I pay an annual fee of $20 base + $30 forums = $50 & with GP I paid $90 annually received little if any customer service, & functionality wasn't there.

I'm sure my reply was deleted soon after I posted.

(how childish of me...hehe)
But seriously, Thank you! So far keeping up with requests and service hasn't been much of a problem. And while GP is WAAAY bigger than DKPSystem, I know that if I had thousands of guilds, I'd be able to afford a decent support staff. I mean, it really only takes one or two people to handle a few hundred questions a day. Considering I get about 10-15 questions a day with 150 guilds, I can't imagine it being hard to handle all that many questions in a timely manner. And when the software gets closer and closer to "done," that'll allocate more time to handle customer support (or hire someone else to handle customer support while I work on another project).

Overall, I'm very thankful for all you gals (and guys) and your constant feedback (and I won't lie, the occasional praises like this are pretty awesome).

I love the feedback, and knowing that we actually matter to you, which is obvious because of the fantastic feedback. I have never had to wait 24 hours for an answer, sometimes, minutes. That is worth so much!
