Can anyone tell me how to reset the Site Icon (aka Favicon)? I tried to simply upload a new picture file but it didn't work. Thanks for help.

After uploading it, you might need to delete your shortcut to it from your menu and re-create it (if you're using Internet Explorer).
Also make sure you press the "Reload" or "Refresh" button.
