I have a couple of issues with the forums on our site.

Somehow we managed to orphan a post. We were setting up the site, and made a test post on the forums to see how it worked. We then went in and changed ranks and thread tags, and our post disappeared, yet it shows up in the count. Is there a way to purge out our forums to get rid of this?

The second issue is more of a "How do I" type of thing. We have a raiding alliance with another guild, and we'd like to use our DKP system and forums for the alliance. We're having a hard time figuring out how to set up the security, however. I understand how the ranks and thread tags work, but it doesn't seem possible to set up an "alliance leadership" area where our officers and their officers can post. Due to the way the security is, either their officers would be able to see our normal guild chat or our guild members would be able to see the alliance officer chat (depending on how the ranks are ordered). Am I missing something? Do you have any suggestions on how we could set this up?
