Hi there. We have several members that have moved over to Macs and are in desperate need of a way to download DKP for GRSS. I have tried to package the script using Platypus and it appears to run but I never get any dialog allowing me to enter our dkpsystems URL.

Are there are other Mac users that have found a workaround?

I don't know very much about MAC but this version of ActiveState Perl is supposed run on a MAC

http://www.activestate.com/store/productdetail.aspx?prdGuid=81fbce82-6bd5-49bc-a915-08d58c2648ca

You might try it and see if just running the Perl Script in that Environment works.

Six Demon BagRefresh This Item
Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
Still a no-go, Sardorun

Any way to DL the file manually by any chance?

I have a preliminary script for MAc users to use, however, it's still a little experimental.

Give http://www.dkpsystem.com/files/GRSS/GetGRSSDKP_OSX.scpt a shot

It's all in the reflexes.
I am a pretty tech-savy guy...I swear! But because the script was saved as run-only, I can't open it in script editor and that is how I always fire my AppleScripts.

Is there another way to run the script, Chops?

I'll play with it. I'm not terribly Mac Savvy, to be honest, so that solution is a bit of a hack.
