DKP inaccuracy?

In the last 2 days our DKP totals changed dramatically. We had 5-7 people at cap (100), and I hadn't updated since then and today suddenly those at cap are way below. O personally lost 12 or so points. I checked the adjustments, and they are all dated 12/31/1969, so I'm thinking it might be caused by the decay and how it's interacting with the past cap adjustments... Any chance you can take a look? I have a raid tonight, and I'm sure I'll have 25 unhappy raiders if they think their DKP is inaccurate when we start handing out loot. website address is http://youreoldschool.com

There was an issue with decay where it hadn't run for a bit. I enabled that a day or two ago and so the decay had updated. The general rule is that with decay active, there shouldn't be anyone at cap for an extended time because they'd always be decaying.

Sorry for the trouble, but your numbers are correct. It was a bug on our part.

It's all in the reflexes.
So would you then suggest I remove the adjustments for cap enforcement, since some would not have capped if it had updated the decay at that point, and then just reenforce the cap? I'm not great with math, and I want to make sure our members DKP is accurate.

Sure, that could work. You could remove the most recent cap adjustment, and then re-adjust it.

Admittedly, though, I don't find DKP cap and Decay to be interminglable. Decay limits the cap on it's own by constantly decaying.
