Description: We've been working with your system for a while now. We have had the following problem from the start. When uploading the DKP file from GRSS, more than half the raids, and most of the loot is missing. for DG: we just finished Naxx25. I watched the addon take its snapshot successfully for each boss kill. and to make sure, I took a manual one after the auto. at the end, we had 6 out of 14 snapshots, and records for 8 items looted for all of Naxxaramas. This is happening consistently regardless of the instance, or who runs the addon. we have followed the instructions to the letter. It is so maddening to be constantly telling our guild members that we are "Working on " their DKP. nobody trusts the DKP system cause its always wrong. Please Help! running the addon on Mac OS10, all updates, no problems at all with anything but the GRSS addon.

That's very odd indeed.

Could you upload to me an example troubled GuildRaidSnapShot.lua file (the ones you're uploading)

Have you noticed any system to the problem (ie, only certain bosses are missing, all snapshots after/before a certain time are missing)?

Try typing "/console reloadui" after each boss's loot is handed out. This ensures that the data gets written to the hard drive.

Also, WoW isn't crashing or anything is it?

Also, you're not typing "/grss reset" during the raid are you?


Keep in mind I'm just tossing out a lot of ideas to try to solve this, as I'm not sure the cause.

It's all in the reflexes.

Until you get your problem fixed find these addons and have all of your officers run them (backups are good!):

EKRaidattend - Boss snapshots of who is in the raid
CTRaidtracker - Tracks loot and how much was spent

It's a more manual approach for sure (you can upload CTRaidtracker though), but it will help you out while you work on a solution for GRSS acting so crazy (I've never had a problem like you describe, aside from when my game crashes.. I'm on a Mac too)

1) sure, I'll send a file right away....
2) I started doing a reloadui after every bosskill, problem is still there.
3) Wow crashed once, but in a different raid, it didnt... and problem was still there.
4) tried GRSS reset before we begin the raid.. just to try to clear everything, problem still there.

Im at a loss as to what is going on... will submit that file in a few min...

Yeah, I am too. It's very unusual. I'm wondering if there's something breaking the parsing of your snapshots or not, so I need to see if the data is actually in the file that's getting uploaded.

My gut is telling me that it's something with the server parsing the data that's freaking out and not the mod itself. I've never had problems if the snapshot is taken, unless WoW itself crashes.

Maybe this might help, I noticed my Previous 25 naxx was missing bosses I thought it might have been a mistake. SO I loaded my last naxx25 that I was in 3/25 it only Recorded this the one mini boss Fuegan and only him no other raid bosses. VERY odd.
