Description:
Currently my users are complaining of drastic lag using the Live Chat feature as well as seeing double entries when they post.

The rest of the room doesn't see two entries, just the submitter sees their message twice.

Chat has some issues, and has had a performance tweak, which has resulted in the double-posting issue and the appearance of lag. It's slated for a pretty significant overhaul to address these issues.
