Description: Hello there, I am unable to log into my site each new visit and others are also reporting this behavior. "Forgot Password" link and then using the new password sent in email then allows the member to log in each time. I've reviewed the ranks, rank features, and logins and cannot find an issue--and if rank permissions where the issue then a simple password reset would not change ability to log in. Also, there is no indication when the login fails (prior to new password reset) that the login attempt has failed, such as a message that the login was incorrect. When entering name/pw, and OK, it's just kind of dead and doesn't really appear to be doing anything at all. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this quickly since we have new effort underway for guild-alliance event coordination and this great site I told them we'd have available needs to be functioning. Of course, if the problem is between the keyboard and the chair please help me understand the issue. Cheers... Rocksy!!

Hi,

The problem almost always means that you're running your own domain name with "masking".

Chops, That seems to have done the trick. Thanks much. I edited my comment because I could not see your response when I accessed my ticket through "my tickets" but when I clicked on the link to it from the recent tickets box on the right bottom menu, I could see your response.

Still having same issue with logging into dkpsystems.com site though--having to reset pw each login. Maybe our DNS was resolving back to dkpsystems and I had it in a loop. I've reset pw but will check it again tomorrow. I have login name to this site as "Rocksy" and login to my guild site as "Roxxsy" and both use same email address. Is that an issue? I would guess the problem is probably between the keyboard and the my chair. {liked that one, didn't ya}
