This still is not working... i had some people join the guild just today... when i logged off, and ran the Upload roster, there were no new people to be added

and now my roster is way out of date

Now that i look at it, the date modified on the GRSS.LUS file is 6/8/07

What path are you getting the file from? Are you sure GRSS is loading?

Six Demon BagRefresh This Item
Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
Indeed, if you type /grss, do you get the "wall of text" that GRSS likes to spit out on you? If not, then it's not loading, which would be a good reason that it's not updating.

If it IS loading, then I'm not sure why WoW would be preventing the file from getting written, and we'll have to go from there.

Windows vista... it does not matter if you are the admin or owner when you log into WoW, it saves the "Non-Admin" Files in a separate location. You have to actually right click the WoW icon and then click on Run as Administrator, for it to make changes to the C: \WoW\Interface\Addons folder (CRAZY) otherwise it will sore all those changes in a folder called Local Files Under the current login and again even if you are logged in as the owner of the machine it does not matter. So what happened after that is i ran it as Admin, and when the game opened up my UI was all screwed up... why you ask... because now it went to the actual C: \WoW\Interface\Addons folder and the actual WTF folder on start up of the game instead of the previous developed "Local" folder IT decided to store the files in. No worries though i just copied the WTF folder from the Local folder and pasted it to the C: \WoW location. this fixed my UI and now i set the properties to the WoW icon to always open as Administrator... so in doing this it now is updating the C: \WoW\Interface\Addons folder\GRSS\GRSS.lua file.

SO... in knowing this, if you have any other people having similar problems, like losing data on raids (cause with Vista it wont save the GRSS Screen Shot) so if you get complaints about people losing data, not getting data files, roster not updating, then 1 question you should add to your research is "Are you using Windows Vista".

Now as a relief the information does get saved, its just that Vista decides that because you are not running as admin, then it chooses to save the file where IT thinks it is best which is here...

C: \Users\Owner\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\GuildRaidSnapShot

Bad Vista!!! Naughty...

WTF MATE... LOL well like i said i found the problem...

now i am still getting the one error message though, and it has nothing to do with Windows Vista... All the guildbanker and the GRSS has been deleted and reinstalled from the Admin menu from the DKP website. i will follow up with a screen shot of the error.
