I am the owner of our site, our GM has stepped down and a new GM has been appointed. However the new GM has asked that I switch the previous GM's post to the new GM's name.
Is there a means of doing so, or would we be required to redo all the posts?

There is not a way to do this, currently. The maker of a post is not changeable.
