Description: downloaded the new grss snapshot. I get an error: idSnapshot.lua.227:bad arguement #1 to "find" (string expected got table) this continually pops up. help

Hm... I'm not able to reproduce this. When does this error pop up? The confusion lies in that line 227 of GuildRaidsnapShot.lua isn't making a call to "find", which makes this particular error rather baffling. [You must be logged in to reply]

Jenfu, in particular, since you're able to reproduce it regularly, my recommendation is to see if another mod is possibly causing the error (This wouldn't be the first time an error from another mod manifested itself in the GRSS). This is going to be a big request, since the trace you've provided still doesn't give me anything to work with. Line 227 of GuildRaidSnapShot isn't a call to string.find. Could you zip up and post you entire Addons folder? I'm not able to reproduce this at all, but I run pretty much vanilla WoW. [You must be logged in to reply]

Jenfu your list doesn't look complete (DBM should be multiple entries for example), and I think you might be running some older addons. Try updating your addons (in addition to sending them to Chops). Also the problem may be hiding in your WTF folder. Try renaming it or moving it to your desktop temporarily to see if you still have the error after WoW creates a new one. [You must be logged in to reply]
