Is it possible to have the "Go to Forum" and "Forum" links on our main page redirect to an old forum that we have had for a long time? Thank you.

Not sure about the forum link on the menu. You can use an advanced layout and there you can change the href in the link that is on the main information banner.
You can hide the forum link on the menu if you choose to.

And then a "Static Menu Item" to make a link to your other forum.
