How can I get rid of the "nothing scheduled" box at top?
Or move it to bottom?

At the moment, that's something that I'm looking into having implemented through the default layout. Unfortunately, at the moment, the only way to move it is by delving into the Advanced Layout Options.

Thanx, I decided t0 do the splash screen looks good now

I'd like to see this feature added as well - it's something that several of my users are asking to have turned off because it's distracting.
