Although when i click the date link it shows 7 people approved
So lets say you are on the news page. You hover over the calendar and it shows 6 pending approval. If you click the calendar link and approve all 6 then submit it doesn't refresh the rover. Try reloading the page or navigating to another page. The calendar data only loads each time the main page loads from what I have seen. Once you refresh the page you are on or navigate to a new page it should update.

Someone has deleted the event, but what it was OnHover was showing 6 approved 1 awaiting, click on date and it showed the 6 approved members but there were no toons awaiting

Ooooh...it sounds like there was an orphan record there. I'll have to see what would have caused that.
