For the life of me, I can't find in the css how to modify the background color of a cell on the Calander with an event for the day. If you take a peek at http://ysera.dwarecmercs.com you'll see why as it's orange on orange. Thank you for the help!

The color controls you are looking for are in the Event Schedule for that item. You need to go to Admin > Schedule > Event Categories find your Kara event category and edit it. Change the BG Color there. Currently there is no customization allowed for the Calendar outside of what you setup in events and if you define it to show 2 months instead of 1. I believe Chops is working on this.
