I am setting up a farming DKP system for the guild and i am using Excel 07 to pull tables from the web site onto a spread sheet.

When Excel imports the text is comes with "Refresh This Item" text beside all the linked item Names. Is there away to stop this?

It depends on the structure of the page and the browser you are using. Firefox does not inherently have an Export to Excel function. Also in IE if the table on a web page is not structured with <table> </table> tags it might not interpret correctly.

The best thing would be to ask Chops for specific tables you want to export and see if he can add an export as CSV option that way it can be easily dropped onto you system and then opened in Excel.
