When I upload a GRSS I can choose the event from one on my calendar but all of the events listed are pre-WotLK.
Any news on when the WotLK instance will be added to to the drop down menu?

The WotLK Destinations are already added, but you need to initialize them yourself. Head to Admin > DKP > Destinations, and there you can initialize the new WoW zones.
Or am I misunderstanding your issue?
