I have the same question...Is it possible to remove the Time to next event capture. I find it very annoying and unneeded.

So sorry for the delayed response here, but you'll need to edit the HTML of the template to remove that.
Admittedly, that template should have a CSS rule to quickly eliminate it, but at current, it's not in the template.
