We need an ability when editing an account to reset the users password. I often get people that signup and for some reason forget their password.

Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
There is a "Forget your Password?" Link just below the login information. If they enter their Email address or login name, it'll generate a new one for them, and send them an email with it. They can then use this to log in, and change their password on the "edit your account info" link.

Figures so once again I just have users that don't read either. Thanks and sorry for the noob question as I knew it would likely have an obvious answer.

Chops,

Could you add this feature anyway? I have people who have given up their e:mail addresses, and THEN forgotten their passwords. Without the ability to really edit ANYTHING on their account, all I can do is have them re-create under a different name. Not good from a database point of view.

Brian
I suppose I could add the ability to recreate the password there.
