One of the characters in my guild has disappeared from our dkpsystem completely. I can't figure out why, and am a bit concerned that his DKP won't be retrievable.. at least I can't figure out how. His name character name is Daelok. --

If you or one of your admins ran the "Full Character Transfer" process (located under "DKP" on the Admin menu), that is the only thing that can account for an entire character's DKP history just dissappearing.
Are there any characters that have a much more extensive history than they should have (or have too many points)?
Also, when did you notice the DKP go missing?

Also, when did you notice the DKP go missing? I've done full character transfers a few times. I'm transfering old data from our old DKP system into the new one and from time to time people change mains. If I transferred Daelok to another person then that was an "oops". I noticed the problem last night. The last night for which we earned DKP was 07/06/07 and he should have earned DKP for that evening. Is it possible that there are back-ups? I'll start looking for any characters he may have been transferred into. --

I do have backups from each night at midnight. I can roll back to whenever you want me to, and I can make an effort to roll back just characters and dkp.

I'll start looking for any characters he may have been transferred into. I think I found it: http://ibr.dkpsystem.com/memberprofile.php?memberid=33#dkpI did that DKP transfer shortly after 7/6/07 9:57:57pm Maeldadar, the character that received the DKP, was supposed to be merged with Daris (oops, close to Daelok on the list!). Daelok has a much larger DKP history than Maeldadar... --

Wonderful news, thanks for your help, let me know if there is any further information you need. Characters: Daelok and Maeldadar http://ibr.dkpsystem.com/memberprofile.php?memberid=4http://ibr.dkpsystem.com/memberprofile.php?memberid=33Need to be rolled back to before 7/6/07 9:57:57pm (website is set to CST, I'm set to EST). However, we had a raid that night, so I don't want to loose that data (as I don't have a GRSS backup.. heh). Daelok attended that raid (as can be seen in Maeldadar's history) Thanks for helping to fix my oops! --

Hey Chops, hate to be a bother, but any progress on figuring this out? I'd like to have the characters back in order soon so as to not mess up any future raid DKP... also I know you're going on holidays and all. Thanks again. --

Should be good to go. Check it out. Daelok is back, which is great, but I seem to have lost the raid on the evening of 7/6/7 Added: Actually it was only one fight, and I have EKwaitlist backups on who attended and .. well good ol' memory for the loot that dropped and the bids taken. So I'll just re-add the data manually. no big deal. Thanks for your help fixing this up. --

I rolled back to that day just because I would be sure that the data was there. Sorry for the inconvenience, but with it only being Karazhan, it should be too tough. Now it it was an MC run or something, that's a different story! -- It's all in the reflexes.
