I was looking to change the text that announces for bidding on items. Our guild has set point values for items, and people bidding see the text that displays and aren't sure what number to put in. No matter how much I put instructions on the site or explain it in game, people still manage to screw it up(yes, my raid is full of halfwits).

I did find in the .lua file where to change the text for what I was looking for. The problem is, if we have multiple people doing bids, I have to get the changed lua file to all of them. Most of them are not so savy on changing files or even copying/pasting over other files. The other problem is, everytime grss self updates itself, I lose my changes and have to reteach these morons how to change the file.

Please, add a gui for the text that is spammed when taking bids.

I think I understand what you are saying but there might be a better option for Chops to implement if you could describe the instructions you are giving them via your site or in game.

My idea for example would be to add another bidding option where you bid without points and just let GRSS sort by DKP of those that bid Highest to Lowest so you can see who wants it and who has the most DKP.

That would be nice as well. Constantly telling people to type "!bid 1" and only that or I'm not accepting their bid gets a little tiresome.

I had asked about the issue of just doing "!bid" on non-auction bids a while ago, and I think you, Saudorun, had mentioned that you had found that it only worked correctly for you if you had them add a 1 as well. Would be cool if for non-auction it sorted correctly without numbers, but I figured just adding a text box for people to edit would be easier
