Description: If a user has an unread private thread, it will highlight the correct forum in the classic index, but display the wrong thread.

I can see that being misleading. The thread that is being displayed is the most recently posted thread in that thread tag.

Don't private thread's have thread tags associated too, though?

I'm guessing that fixing this would involve an extra join or two on the query - performance hit may not be worth it

The only other way I can see to display it would be to just highlight the forum without showing the thread, but that's far less useful than what's there now

Oh, I missed the "Private Thread" qualifier in there.

I'll have a look, but I thought I addressed that.

They do have thread tags, and it should show the latest posted-to thread (viewable by the user) in the category regardless of whether or not it's private.
