What's the best method to tell who was there start to finish? Right now I have to take a manual comparison of who was on time and who was there for the last boss. Please tell me there's an easier way!
The way I have done this. OnTime, FirstBoss, LastBoss. Ran the data into excel and used VLOOKUP on the LastBoss versus OnTime and FirstBoss and if TRUE then they got it. Main problem I found was that people were actually (very seldom) leaving in the middle and coming back. Very bad skew of data there. Pretty much the same as you but using Excel to help me.
So until Chops gets the automated way of doing it we dropped OnTime and Start to Finish. We now just use SignUp. If you SignUp and ShowUp you get the bonus. Still waiting on Chops to hopefully automate this a little too where we can click an Award DKP link on the signup page after uploading the raid and it will automatically update the DKP for that calendar event. It would have to be an item that is done last and have a few options to it. How to distribute points is a big one because if you signup and don't for example showup you might lost DKP and if you show up without signing up you get nothing. Also to encourage people to use the calendar we give points if you signup that won't make it. This also relies on either making the account name match the Main Character or defaulting the Main Character as the I won't make person instead of the account name.
