Ok, what I am trying to do is place the news in a certain spot on my template. Instead of it in the middle of everything I would like it in a smaller section. I can't find a command line on the advanced layout for it. So thinking I might of missed it. If you could help out that would be awsome. Also I would like to put in drop down menu's. Would be nice to clean up a lot of the added stuff. Is that possible? If so I have a coding program that will make them for me just need to know if I can use them on this format or not.

Still have to figure out how to properly link the main form of my template to each page. fun fun. =)

I'm not sure it's possible to do that without affecting everything. The news like all other pages are controled by 1 tag.

Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
Saud is right. Unfortunately, there's no <!--System:News--> command or anything like that. But that IS an interesting idea.

I could see this as a good idea if you wanted to have an optional new banner that showed up on all pages. A lot of people bookmark the forums and thus never see the news. If you go to Yahoo or other sites you'll notice that they all have a news banner of sorts that changes every 5 seconds or so and shows the headline and a short excerpt of the new article which can link you to the actual artical with forward and backward navigation buttons. Maybe that is too much but might be a neat feature to have the 3 or 5 most recent news Subject Lines in a changing banner box.

I could see it just as easily being a custom menu of some sorts. Or it could also be something like the popular threads, just a quick link. But all scrolly and nice are always options.
