My guild is going to shortly implement a T&C for all current guildies and future guildies to accept or deny. Accepting the T&C gets you from the lowest rank to the one just above it ni the guild. You then move up in ranks from there.
However, I was wondering if there was a way to get a Accept button on a page and have it email the Officer ranks so that the next time an officer is in-game then can bump that person up to the correct rank.
I of course could do this on my own with a few simple form fields, but to integrate it with the Officer rank and their email address would be very nice. As well as possibly having a module for such a thing as a Guild T&C built into the current system with an Administration area for it.
I know I have read similar requests in the past and I agree. Most guilds have some Guide or chain of posts today that constitute guild policies. It would be really nice to have some kind of actually specific module for this that gave options like Diesel is laying out. At the core a basic Accept and Decline box would be awesome but coupling that with automatic creation of a post like applications (sorry I don't need anymore email) to a specific rank and all above it that player x has Accepted or Declined the guild policies would be nice. This would allow us to know who has read guild policies or not and if they are in compliance with them. If they have a legitimate concern over a guild policy hitting decline gives them a forum to immediately state their case.

Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
