I noticed a few weeks ago I'd made a private thread tag in the "My Private Thread Tags" section called "Barney" so I could specifically speak to this login name. When I used to make a "Make a new Post" I used to be able to use the drop down menu to choose "Barney" and it would post with that tag name and he'd get it. I noticed today that the option is gone from my drop down box, I'm not sure for how long it's been this way as I just noticed. I can still use the check box for Private Thread Tag and then choose a name but two things make me nervous about doing it this way.
1) After you choose the one name, it takes you back to your post but doesn't display the name of the person you're sending it to--just incase you selected someone by accident.
2) It doesn't show up in the private thread name that I named for it. It shows up as Private, yes, but it has the convo bubble and not the name of the thread I made for the convo to be placed into.
I just wanted to bring this to your attention, as I really liked being able to choose the thread tag I'd made in the drop down box so that I was always certain where it would be posted on the boards. I think it made it less confusing for the guild members to also make the threads they needed in the right places.
Not sure if this is just a simple "turn on" mechanism, or if indeed, the Thread Tag section of the forums really did change.
