I am good with webpages editing and so forth and was decent with my old postnuke and php nuke sites. I actually bought a phpnuke theme but then decided to move to this dkpsystem.com because it has way better functionality. However I am NOT good with CSS.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start to learn or know of anyone who I can pay to design me a good theme using DKP system or possibly convert the theme I bought? Basically I'm trying to go for a nice clean look that those featured sites have. (Those people are gods!)

I'd say.. if there's a particular site you like..

maybe ask the admin for the css / html, and or menu html files and work from those..

as it is.. chops gives you a prebuilt CSS and html files..

I litterly started just hacking those to my licking

though some of the coloration is also controlled by the site itself..

I make a lot of use of the Test It button and just set my css file path to a different one than I'm using for live site.
