A number of our guild members have been unable to assocation their wow character with their dkpsystem account. Here's what they did:

1. Created an account with dkpsystem.com
2. Validated their account
3. Attempted to login to the guild website with their newly created account name and password.

The last step fails, i.e., invalid login.

What have they done wrong?

Did you approve the accounts? Once they validate the account it should pop up an alert for the site Admin to approve it. They will not be able to log in until the accounts are approved.

Also after rereading this I think there are a couple things to point out. Creating an account on DKPSystem.com is not going to create an account on http://thelost.dkpsystem.com/

They need to go to your guild site and create an account not the main site. The accounts for each are completely separate.

That still doesn't work. Consider the following scenerio:

1. User discovers the guild web site and fills out an app.
2. User is notified that app has been approved.
3. User attempts to login to guild website, but realizes s/he doesn't have a password.

Hmmmm, OK, user then tries the following...

4. User creates and validates a dkpsystem account then attempts to login to guild website using dkpsystem account credentials.
5. Login fails.

What have I missed? I know I've missed something because I have obviously been able to do this (but I don't remember exactly what I did).

Are they creating their accounts on dkpsystem.com or on your website thelost.dkpsystem.com?

It's all in the reflexes.

In the scenerio above, they create and validate their account with dkpsystem.com. Then, when the attempt to login to the guild website using the dkpsystem.com credentials, the login fails.
