The AVS Error is an Address Verification issue. Generally speaking, it's comparing the Zip code (at least I think that's the most important match in the AVS system). I can get you set up via paypal if you wish, but the caveat to that is that I have to do it manually, so there's always a delay from when you send payment to when you actually get to work on your site.
You could try calling the Credit Card company and making sure that the AVS matches (particularly that the zip code you are using in on your card).
