well thats what i discovered after using our DKPsystem site for half a year. The post is made with the settings u had and then its fixed forever. the only thing that changes is your avater because the whole account frame left of the post changes always but no the post itself
Thank you for the sig generator, it is very cool My guild members love it!
However, I think I have found a slight error in URLs generated for European players.
I made my signature with link to Blizz' Armory. The link didn't work, and ofc first I blamed Blizz But after looking into it, I found that DKPSigs is generating a faulty link for players on European servers:
DKPSigs generates URLs starting with url=http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/character-sheet.xml.blablabla .
To make it work for European users, the address armory.worldofwarcraft.com has to be changed to armory.wow-europe.com . The rest should be unchanged.

Oh I'm retarded. I totally overlooked the BBCode Links. I'll fix that right away.
Way back on the first page, there was mention of pulling information off the armory and creating a model to reflect the gear worn. A daunting task considering all that'd have to go into it, but I remembered, a while back, that the guys making the WoW Model Viewer had been working on a Java (well, ActiveX at first, then they changed to Java iirc) implementation of their program. Looking on their site now, I don't see any mention of it, so maybe it was scrapped, but still...
The latest release of their program lets you pull information of a character off the Armory page. It takes a few seconds to get all the information, but it does get the gear the character is wearing. Also, their program is open-source and the author has stated he's not going to add any new features to the program anymore, just fix current errors. I don't know how useful it would be to talk to these guys about maybe getting the java version of the program, but it's something to think about for the future. =)
Being a rogue that has gone for +hit over crit, it would be nice if you could implement that as a stat to show as well, and maybe the weapon-skill, as were a bit low on showable stats with melee dps.

I don't have melee hit rating?! I thought I did, but if not, I'll definitely be sure to add that.
Hi Chops! I really enjoy the sig generator you have created. Being able to switch backgrounds makes it really stand out from other sig generators that I have found. Are there any plans in the future to add more attributes? I would really enjoy adding some of the basic stats to my sig such as spirit and intellect. I would also really like it if I was able to choose the total mana regen that I have and not just the mana per 5 seconds. I am not sure if these requests are easy to implement or not. Anyways, thank you very much again. This is great work!
First- Chops- what a awesome and wonderful idea!! Really- you're doing wonderful things for all of our guilds. Thank you. Since you'd talked about tallying up avatars that seemed unpopular I just wanted to bring up the one for the female druids. It kinda looks...silly. the orange background and her garb makes her look like a fruit salad. lol. (well for NE druid-feral spec. Not sure if I went a different tree if the avatar would change)
Saudorun-
What did you mean by the above thing. I can't get it to work but maybe I'm just doing it wrong. Can you help with it? It's a cool idea- I might just be missing a step.
Thanks. Wonderful job with the web site stuff guys. It's made even better with all these additions! thanks!
What it does if you paste the img tag inside of the url tag is that your sig will become a clickable link to your actual armory profile.
Chops actually implemented this shortly after I posted the suggestions on how to do it.
Use 1 of the following options when making your signature part of your account profile.
From the Armory page options for your signature HTML With Link (if you copy the text in this line it will make an HTML Signature that will link to your profile when you click it)
BBCode With Link (if you copy the text in this line it will make a BBCode Signature that will link to your profile when you click it)
Full example of BBCode that makes my signature the way it is and clickable. (note that I have mispelled somethings to break rendering)
