Hey Chops, came across another little bug with the calendar system. Not sure why it happened. I have a scheduled fight for 6/30/07 at 11:45pm CST, to the guild's timezone its 07/01/07 12:45am CST. The event looks listed correctly, but it appears on the July 30th and not June 30th. Might have missed something, but I think I got it all covered. Thanks in advance for taking a look man.
Side note: Guild is loving the site man, great work.
i am having lots of issues with the time showing up incorrectly. We schedule our raids at 11:45, but its showing up as 5:45. Settings are correct but people are confused. i guess a full year of the same raid times can be confused by 1 day of incorrect times on the site.

For this, this is the result of your personal Time zone. Click "Edit my Account Info" and on that page, you can set your time zone.
Just checking on status of this. If you've had a chance to look at it and see what I'm talking about Chops, I'm going to remove or move that event to another time so its not showing up on the date it is now for the calendar. Thanks man.

I'm rather new to these things, but i have done my www page very quickly, what i have noticed that is a huge problem is i have the site on CST which as of now "summer" is -5 GMT this is what i wanted the site on just for default. now adding schedualed events worked fine, times showed up for all time zones. The counter tho is totally off no matter if im CST EST or anything else. I'm guessing you know about this already, but i just want to make sure

There's some more changes that need to happen to be able to choose the time zone by name, rather than by my not-straight-forward-actually-kinda-misleading time zone selector.
For CST/CDT, choose -6, which is the non-daylight-savings adjustment.
Make sure you have it set up properly on the Admin menu as well as your personal time zone (clicking "Edit my Time Zone")

ahhh yes, I know the GMT thingy is confusing because they change for winter and summer, geeze timezones really do blow ;p thanks for the quick reply
Just thought I would add on to this thread short of creating a new one. Forgive me if that was not the correct protocol as I am new here.
I imported the data from our Group Calendar mod into the guild site. I made sure the site and my own personal time zone were set to New York (even though I am in Maryland/DC). The server Lothar is also in the same time zone. So the WoW server, the guild site, and my own account are all set to the same time zone (so I believe).
However when I look at the events in the group calendar, it shows events that were scheduled this past Sunday for 2pm and 3pm as having the times of 5pm and 6pm respectively. So it seems like the time is off by 3 hours. Other times on the calendar are also off, I just used the above reference because I remember for sure when those events took place.
You might need to check the mod settings. There are a couple of time zone options on the mod in game and it could be affecting your uploads. Also on anything where you are uploading data to the system and it appears to be changing, corrupting, or displaying in a way that you don't expect it is good practice to attach the file.
-- Six Demon Bag Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for? Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag! Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg? Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!

My apologies for not attaching the file, it is now. I am new at this.
I checked the mod in game and about the only time setting I can see is the checkbox to use the server date and time which is checked. I just did the "rebuild database" thing to see if that would help and it does not appear to have.
Times are working good on my site, might want to double check how those events were entered and what time settings are currently on your profile and the website profile. Also, make sure when you are scheduling events, that you do so with the website profile setting. The times will adjust after they are saved for everyone. You probably know all of this, but good to double check it. I know I've almost put events in according to my time zone and not the website's a few times.
My account's time zone: Check. Guild's time zone: Check. Events entered with "*Server Time (America/Los Angeles)*": Check.
Still two hours off.
Well if you didn't even use the group calendar importer, then I guess the issue is with the website calendar in general. That at least helps narrow it down.
