I've had a phone number on my account profile on my guild's website for quite some time, and always assumed that if a guild member needed something and I wasn't online that they could go get my number and call me up. Earlier today someone told me that they couldn't find my number in either my account info or character info. When I click Edit Account I can see it there, but it's not visible when I click View Account. What gives?

It's visible only to members who are able to edit your account.

There are some changes coming (custom fields for characters and accounts) to help with a situation like this.
