Description:
I recently reformatted my computer. Always one to cut corners and save time, I didn't do a traditional reinstall of WoW - I simply copied the entire wow folder to an external hard drive and then copied it back after.
Originally I had placed WoW in a brand new directory. When I tried to run DKP Profiler, it popped an error something to the effect of my WoW install is corrupt. I then changed the folder I had dumped wow in to what it was when I installed DKP Profiler (hoping that DKP profiler simply remembered the old path) and now I'm getting a new error. Run-time error '76': Path not found.
I really don't want to have to go through all the trouble of finding my WoW CDs and reinstalling them. Any chance of a quick fix here or am I screwed?

It reads the WoW installation path from the registry.
First, go to Start > Run
Enter "regedit" and press enter.
A new program should pop up with a series of folders on the left.
I want you to open up the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft
Then when you get there (or create the path), you'll have to make a new item on the right called "InstallPath"
In there, enter the installation path for WoW

This worked, but I didn't have to do it. I'm guessing WoW created the registry entry when I ran the Launcher. I had previously just been opening the WoW.exe.
