In Custom Menu, on your Vent Status menu, if you enter HTML into the text box, it'll insert it above the vent status stuff.

Not sure what you mean by HTML.

I tried typing in the hostname/ ip address to no effect

HTML is the language of the web, so to speak.

Go to Admin > Custom Menu, and click [Edit] next to your "Ventrilo Status" menu.

You could put something in it like:

Thanks Chops this is what I was looking for. LOL I knew what HTML was but did not know "THE" html for it.

Here is a question. Is it possible to make the Ventrillo Connect only viewable if you are logged on or better yet by a certain rank. Basically I want to make it easy on our guildies and not just have any joe blow be able to connect

At the moment, Unfortunately not. I do plan on adding rank-based menu options in the relatively near future, though.
