I wonder if she means the forum list page, it appears the post rows are thicker (higher) than before and it forces you to scroll down much further.

You can change that view as well. If you change the thread list to flat, that's pretty much exactly how the forums were before.

changing that drop down for me does nothing. There is no way to enact the change.

Which browser are you using? It's working as intended on Firefox.

maybe this is fixed now with the fixing stated in the other post ?
