There are some new changes being rolled out over the next few months, and I very much liked how the "Rollout Month" thread went, constantly posting updates to that thread to keep you guys informed of what's coming down the pipeline.
So I'll use this thread to post any new updates to the system, starting with today's update:

* A built-in paypal donate button. Head to Admin > Menus > Menu Administration, and click "Add a new Menu" to see a "PayPal Donate Button" option. Bear in mind, because this function involves money, that this feature is reserved exclusively for the super-admin and none other. Not even users with "Full Admin" checked will have access to change which email address the donations go to.

* Brand new email filter for BBCode that is an improvement over the old format of rewriting emails as
user at domain.com. The new one is harder for harvesters to read, and on the client-side also converts the text into a clickable link. Example:
