Alrighty. You should notice some new stuff, if you're paying attention.
1) Check out the new admin menu item called "Raid Roles." Here you can create Roles for Raids, both Primary and Secondary. Primary Roles are things like "DPS" or "Tank." Secondary Roles are things like "Humanoid CC", "AOE Fear," etc (Secondary roles are more utilitarian in nature).
For example, you could make a Secondary Role called "Humanoid CC," then make Warlocks, Mages, and Rogues eligible (because they have seduce, sheep, and sap, respectively).
2) Event Categories have gotten a much needed advancement. Now you can assign things like Raid size and Raid makeup to a Event category. This means that you can make a Standard template for each Raid you do. This will undoubtedly make your life easier by allowing you to schedule things MUCH faster.
3) The Raid Availibity option in your Logged In As menu, as well as a "Raid Availiabity" list on the Resources Menu. Here you can create and view others' Raid Availability. Based on Day of week and a time-frame.
4) The ability to remove the Next Event box from the top (Indeed you can now remove the whole thing from the top, just leaving room for your Logo). This is done from the "Simple Menu Administration" option.
3) The Raid Availibity option in your Logged In As menu, as well as a "Raid Availiabity" list on the Resources Menu. Here you can create and view others' Raid Availability. Based on Day of week and a time-frame.
OMG you rule. I really wasn't expecting this feature to come with the Role change.

Umm There is still no way to delete and Event Category. I have a lot of old pre BC categories I wan to get rid of.
Can you also look at adding a Default Minimum Rank to the Event Category page please?
When I click copy on an event it doesn't use the default of the Event Categories signup structure. It defaults back to class. This happens even if I create an event that is using Roles and then copy that one. They all default back to class. For things like Kharazan where you run multiple days of the week do to the instance length I usually just hit copy and change the date on the raid rather than fill it all out.

I changed my sign ups right away as soon as I seen the new feature....but then it left me guessing who was what class?? I just recently had a merger, and trying to figure out what names = what class is well....you know....a pain in the butt...

I do agree. While you might define Ranged DPS and say your going to take 3 into Kharazan you probably don't want all 3 to be hunters or mages just because they signed up first.

1 more suggested change to the Availability Tracker. Can you please make it open (or give the option) for it to open in a separate popup like the calendar. The reason for this is that when I am doing my schedule I need to be able to see the event I am scheduling and the tracker so I know the best days and times. The way it works now I have to force it to open in a new window or tab which is ok but would be nicer if it just did it on its own.

I like the raid role concept, but it would be nice if we could use raid colorings for the names so we can tell what classes signed up... either that, or list their class as well, but I like the color idea.
Could you put the "secondary" roles into an expandable section that is by default closed? It's really nice and clean and easy to read with just the primary roles up but it gets cluttered once I start adding a lot of secondary roles.
Ideally I'd like to link some roles to primary roles and have the subsections within the primary linked but not expanded... but I think that's getting too complicated.
