How does it knock out dkp features? Not sure what you mean by that.
I was told that when new things are added you need the layout savvy person you paid to fix the site to show it. Like for example the recently added showing of next month calander, if you had a custom site done & wanted to take advantage of this it's not the same as simply clicking it like it is in the preformatted ones.
This is what I was told btw. I was asking around as to why people are reluctant to make a couple bucks by working on some site design & thats when it came up.
Here is exactly what i was told in a message, "Yea, it's nice to change some stuff around. Basically with dkpsystem's setup, once you change their basic layout, it becomes unique. You can no longer use several pre-built features. Most stuff still functions, but you'll find the "ez-mode" web design stuff stops working as well. When I changed the layout of the UG site it looked better (borders, new button design, etc), but Kross had to turn me into the webmaster to update stuff all the time lol."
